After completing his articles with Arthur Andersen in 1997, Gordon entered the merchant banking fraternity with Barclays Merchant Bank, first in Harare, Zimbabwe, and later in London. In 2000 he returned to Africa to focus on specialised finance and private equity as a founding partner of 4D Investments Africa and later as a founding partner at a boutique finance and equity group Eton Capital. He joined Excellerate as Operations Director in February 2006 and was appointed CEO in November 2006.

James completed his articles with Ernst & Young in 1996, qualifying as a CA (SA). On completion of his articles, he joined Ernst & Young's corporate and structured finance division, specialising in corporate debt origination, mergers and acquisitions and valuations. Following a short period working for a boutique finance house facilitating project finance within sub-Saharan Africa, James became a founding partner of the boutique finance and equity group, Eton Capital. He joined Excellerate in June 2007 as the Head of Acquisitions and Special Projects and was appointed as the Financial Director in April 2009.

Marna completed her articles at KPMG after which she was appointed as a part time lecturer at the Vaal Triangle Technikon. In the following years she worked at SASOL as a Senior Accountant and in 1996 she began her career with Gensec as senior internal auditor. She was appointment as CEO in November 2003 from where she was appointed as the CEO of JHI Properties following the merger of Gensec Property Services and JHI.
Marna has been appointed as the CEO of Excellerate Property Services and board member of Excellerate Holdings Limited following the acquisition of JHI Properties by Excellerate Holdings Limited. Marna is a member of various organisations, including RICS Governing Council (International), Chairman of the Appeals Panel, Director of the Board of the Property Charter, IRBA, FRICS, SAICA, Women's Property Network and the Young Presidents' Organisation. Marna was also a finalist and winner of various business woman awards.

Clinton (Clint) Phipps is a qualified accountant and a practicing member of SAIPA (South African Institute of Professional Accountants). He has been involved in the security industry since 1994 and is a long-serving board member of the South African Security Association (SASA). Clint is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Excellerate Property Services (Proprietary) Limited, which specialises in delivering self-performing soft services and integrated solutions to the property and related sectors across Africa, Middle East and in the United Kingdom.

Born in Zimbabwe, Zinona (Zed) Koudounaris is a founder shareholder of Innscor. He was the driving force behind the initial creation and success of the Innscor’s core fast food brands, which created a foundation of various successful businesses, which Zed continues to strategically monitor and grow. Zed has held a number of positions within Innscor, including Chief Executive Officer upon the Group’s listing in 1998. Zed sits as director on various boards of both listed and unlisted groups and remains highly active in pursuing strategic growth opportunities for the businesses that he is involved in and providing guidance to the management team.

Tshego is the founder and CEO of Agile Capital, a leading black owned Private Equity investment firm in South Africa with more than R1.3 billion of invested capital. He is responsible for overall management of the business and is involved in transaction origination, execution and post investment value management. He is involved in several portfolios companies and sits on the boards of several of them. Before establishing Agile Capital, Tshego was the Managing Director of the Zico Group, an investment holding company with diverse interests in mining, gaming, industrial services and manufacturing, both within South Africa and across the continent. He is currently the Chairman of Provest Holdings, Spilltech Group and Provantage Media Group. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on boards of several companies including Henkel SA, Innovation Group SA, Aquatico Water Testing Solutions and Averge Technologies.

Innocentia Pule is a chartered accountant who commenced her career at Ernst and Young Corporate Finance and Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd where she gained due diligence and corporate valuations experience and subsequently joined the Ernst and Young London office in the Risk Management Advisory department. Upon her return from London, she joined Nedbank Limited as a Finance Executive within the Corporate Cluster, where she was responsible for consolidated reporting of all businesses within the Cluster. In 2007 she was offered an executive position as a Head of Finance for Nedbank Corporate Banking. She served as a member of the Audit Committee of the National Empowerment Fund from August 2010 until she joined the National Empowerment Fund in September 2012 as Chief Financial Officer. Since 2018, she has worked with various organisations including the Small Enterprise Funding Agency (Sefa), specifically with procurement and risk management; and Postbank where she held an interim CFO position.
